Hill Park B were given a stern test against third-placed Plympton Cons A and after Mike Whatley was successful in 31, the league leaders led 6-2. Cons A rallied well and reeled off four on the bounce to level at 6-6, only to lose the 13th and decisive point to Simon Stevenson.
