Saltash Utd...7 Ivybridge Town...1 THE Bridgers could be forgiven for thinking that three goals in the final four minutes might have been a bit rough on them - but the Ashes' fans would counter with the fact that but for visiting goalkeeper Josh Oak the damage could have been more severe. A young Ivybridge team will continue to struggle until they find some experience to take charge of their defence that has now cost them 13 goals in their last two games. It was the visitors who gave their hosts a fifthminute wake-up call when Josh Zimmerman found himself free at the near post from a corner touch the ball past Paul Hider. The home side hit back with a header from Danny Zalick on 13 minutes. The Ashes were gifted the lead when Ryan McClement, who had forced the corner for Ivybridge's opening goal, made a clumsy challenge on Ross Saint, who converted from the penalty spot.

Saint struck again two minutes later with a superb, low drive from 25 yards. The Bridgers started the second half well enough but again ran out of steam and it was only several fine saves from Oak that denied Zalick, Luke Doddridge and Matt Cusack.
