Children from a Plymouth junior school have sent a message of Christmas cheer to British troops in Afghanistan.

Pupils from Plymouth College Junior School filled more than 100 shoe boxes with food and treats, and wrote Christmas cards to show their solidarity with the soldiers and marines on active service.
