Herald Reporter LOCALS dug deep into Plympton's past with a range of activities at an archaeology open day. The Archaeology Open Day at Plympton St Maurice Guildhall gave attendees a chance to explore local history and enjoy a day of Archaeological exhibitions.
Tabatha Cadbury who organised the event alongside Jo Clarke, both from Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, wanted to share an exhibition of artifacts at the open day as well as activities such as pot washing and categorising already excavated and washed finds in to different types of ceramics and sugar vessels Attendees were also welcome to bring along their own findings for Archaeologists to identify.See the full content of this document
