Plymouth adventurer Rachel Andrews has completed her gruelling journey to the South Pole after setting off three weeks ago.

Rachel, 41, a member of Team Due South, completed the Amundsen Omega 3 South Pole Race at 4.10pm on Monday after skiing 370 nautical miles across the Antarctic Plateau in temperatures as low as -50C.
